Precision, Clearly Communicated
Challenge
Schaffer had strong manufacturing capabilities, but the brand didn’t reflect the quality, precision, or durability of the work. The company needed a new identity that could move them beyond the look of a general fabricator and present them as a more focused manufacturing partner. The goal was to create a brand that felt industrial, credible, and built around the strength of their fabrication and Hardox® wear part solutions.
Process
I started by looking at the company’s message, market, and the materials the team needed to support sales and customer conversations. From there, I developed a new identity system from the logo through the broader visual language, including typography, color, layout, imagery, and supporting graphics. The system was built to feel rugged and technical without becoming heavy or generic, and flexible enough to carry across web, social, presentations, sales materials, and trade show graphics.
Solution
The final rebrand gave Schaffer a stronger and more consistent way to present itself. The new identity helped clarify what they do, raised the overall level of their materials, and gave the team a practical system they could use across sales, marketing, and customer-facing communication.
